What does a UX Researcher do?

We’re looking to hire a talented and curious individual who will help us revolutionise the way we understand our customer. The role will require you to collate data from multiple information sources and present it in compelling way. You’ll need to be comfortable working with data using at least one statistical analytics program, but you’ll also need be comfortable picking up the phone and chatting to users about how they work and do what they do.

Your day to day will involve compiling reports, designing surveys, interviewing users and conducting ethnographic research. This role is a great fit for anyone who is interested in a combination of qualitative and quantitative research, and is thirsty to get experience across the broad range of research methodologies. Pulling together multiple sources of information you’ll help refine and shape the way we work with our customers so that we can provide them a better experience.

Do you have the following skills:

  • An understanding of the different research methodologies and influencing factors (interviewing techniques, biases, sampling design, surveying etc.);

  • Excellent qualitative and quantitative skills and demonstrated analytical ability;

  • Strong intellectual curiosity and ability to identify difficult (often undefined) problems;

  • Excellent English verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
